Questions, answered plainly.

Do I need to create an account?

No. None of the apps have accounts, sign-in, or a login of any kind. Buy on the Mac App Store with your Apple ID and open the app — that's the whole setup.

Are these subscriptions?

No. Every app is a one-time purchase. Pay once, use it for as long as you like, including free updates within that major version.

Is my footage or data safe?

CacheCut and EasyStills contain no networking code at all — not disabled, not opt-out, genuinely absent from the app — so nothing they touch can leave your Mac. DriveShelf's catalog is a local database on your own machine. It records file names, paths and sizes so it can search them later — never file contents. The only exception is DriveShelf's optional iPhone app, which syncs through your own iCloud account, not through us.

What Mac do I need?

All the apps are universal binaries that run natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs, targeting macOS 14 or later. EasyStills additionally needs footage in H.264, HEVC or ProRes — camera RAW formats like BRAW or R3D aren't supported.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases go through the Mac App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple, not by us directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Is there a bundle across all the apps?

Not yet. Every app is priced and built to stay eligible for an App Store bundle down the line, but nothing is live today — buy whichever is useful to you now.

Will there be more apps?

EasyQuote and EasyGrab are both in development now. Beyond that, new apps only get built when a real production problem needs solving — see About for why that matters.
